Bob The Bartender Signing On!

You know, I've been reading SPORT Magazine since the fifties, when you'd wait to get the Mickey Mantle cover and pour through the great stories that made up the sports world. Every month, it was a highly anticipated treat. Ah, those were the days. Today all you here about is steroids, arrests, and generally bad behavior by many players. Not here, my friend. You get plenty of bad news from other places. SPORT Magazine is going to get you plenty of great stories by the people who make sports worthwhile. We're covering the sports that seem to have lost some lustre with the new media.....like horse racing, boxing, track and field. We'll cover the new stports, too. Yeah, SPORT Magazine....what an oasis for the real sports fan.

Sport Magazine Back For the 'Serious' Sports Fan

Welcome back to Sport Magazine.

Since just after World War II, Sport Magazine was the 'go to' magazine for photos and features that you wanted to follow in the world of sports in the USA. Each month it was exciting to go to the news stand, or head for the mail box, and receive the new issue of SPORT.

Of course, times have changed. A lot for the better. A lot not so much so. What we at SPORT want to do is bring back the traditional sensibilities of the treatment of sports using today's technology. We'll salute the rich heritage of the sports we follow, something oft forgotten in today's journalism. Certainly, we'll feature the current sports events and personalities as well.

You will certainly see a Bret Favre, a C C Sabathia, or a Tim Duncan on out cover. You'll never see an Allan Iverson, a Terrell Owens, or a Jason Giambi. That's our mindset, that's our mission.
We will only treat the sports world- and its players - with respect. In turn, we expect the sports people to repect themselves, the fans, and their sports. If not, there are plenty of other places to follow these people. Just not here. Call us old fashioned, but we love our sports too much to have them besmirched by the antics of a Chad Ochocinco, a Michael Vick, or a Rasheed Wallace.

Thanks for coming back to SPORT. We're looking forward to providing you with enjoyable sports entertainment via our E Magazine, our radio show, our print annual and specials, and our TV shows.
